Just to be clear this top ten list is based on the characters that make me laugh the most.
10) Lucille Bluth: Because the only (very questionable) motivational posters you need are filled with Lucille ’s Arrested Development quotes.
9) Barney Stinson: Because he is the ultimate legendary player in a suit. Bro code following (almost all the time), playbook writing Casanova, Barney. We love him and all his made up rules. True Story.
8) Marshall Eriksen: Because he’s cuddly, bitch! Deal with it! Marshall’s like a big sensitive teddy bear. And the way he treats his Lilypad earns him bonus points.
7) Chandler Bing: Charming, clumsy, hilarious, sarcastic Bing. Because he’s the guy that can joke his way out of anything.
6) Ross Geller: Yes, I dared put him above Chandler. Why? Because he’s dorky in all the right ways, his voice gets high pitched at all the wrong times and I love a character who’s even funnier when he’s mad.
5) Buster Bluth: Because he’s weird and dysfunctional. I’m a sucker for dysfunctional when it comes to comedy. But mostly because he has the best TV Mother/Son relationship.
4) Cosmo Kramer: Because he’s everyone’s favorite neighbor (except Jerry maybe) Because of his quirkiness, his sound effects, his giddy ups and his epic entrances.
3) Michael Scott: Because he wants people to fear how much they love him, because he’s that desperate for attention, so annoying and lovable at the same time. Because Michael Scott will always be the World’s Best Boss.
2) Dwight Schrute: Because he is loyal beyond measure, he loves you so much he’d mercy kill your cat. He owns a bed and breakfast beet farm. He starts office fires just to teach you a valuable lesson. He’s a stickler for the law but he can definitely get away with the perfect crime if he had to.
1) George Contanza: When I wrote this the only thing I had no doubts about was who was going to be number one. Georgey. Cheap, stingy, rage filled Georgey.
Because even though he’s sad, pathetic, and very ill-tempered we can all relate to him. Sometimes on more than one level, sadly.

Honoroble mentions: Parks & Rec's Ron Swanson and Leslie Knope. Also from Arrested Development, GOB Bluth, Cam from Modern Family, Crazy Creed Bratton from The Office, Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory), Community's Troy Barnes and last but not least a Brit. Mark Corrigan from Peep Show).
